I have these sections colored so they will show up. You do not have to have a color in them. Or you can add a background color to make the columns match. One will generally be longer than the other.

These columns get longer the more copy or images you put in them.

You can also have divs that are scrolling with a set height to keep your pages a consistent length if you have a larger amount of text.
